CONTAINER (Nashville, Tennessee, USA)
Inspired by the discovery of 90’s minimal techno, Ren Schofield began his Container
project in the early months of 2009, applying compositional techniques and musical
approaches learned through his background of noise, drone, and cassette collage music
to the genre of techno, without combining any of the two. Backdrops of simplistic beats
evolve patiently over time giving a distinct focus to each sound introduced and each
pattern created, snowballing together with occasional vocal cassette manipulations
into what has been described as ‘outsider techno’ .

LASER POODLE (Amsterdam, Netherlands)
Two kids who hooked up their electronic wizardry are challenging
the boundaries of electronic beat music. In form of an organic, constantly
shapeshifting pulse, played on a pile of electronics and drum machines,
Laser Poodle is a sweet late night strobo dog trip. Taking a shit in the middle
of the street is indeed as convenient as a four to the floor bass drum.
The duo consists of Fyoelk (de) and Yellow Galactic Human (dk).

TG Gondard, anciennement TG tout simplement, a quitté les dérives de la musique techno à base de kétamine avariée pour se concentrer sur l’amour et ses déclinaisons invariables. Amateur de nostalgie vaporeuse et de cartes postales bisexuelles en noir et blanc, venez chercher le slow tumultueux qui creuse les reins de votre bien aimée au mot de passe : ... Il est à noter que ce fils de Brie possède une des plus belles collections de vestes de l’Europe occidentale.

EDGAR WAPPENHALTER : Les premiers enregistrements d’Edgar Wappenhater proposaient soit du folk fantomatique, soit des expérimentations drone et des collages sonores. Son dernier LP « on the beach » mélange ces deux derniers aspects tout en y ajoutant des nouveaux éléments tels que le shoegazing et la musique psychédélique. On résumerait cela à une fête sur la plage dont tu es tellement loin que tu ne peux entendre ce que joue le DJ, mais ça te semble tellement agréable et familier que tu attends le lever du soleil pour aller faire l’amour dans la mer. Il est également cofondateur de Silvester Anfang et de Funeral Folk, il travaille aussi pour le Kraak (label et festival flamand très réputé) et son magazine Ruis dont il est le rédacteur en chef.

THE URPF LANZE : The Urpf Lanze est l’alter égo de Wouter Vanhaelemeesch connu, surtout en tant que graphiste, pour être une des personnes derrière les excellents labels audioMER et Smeraldina-Rima. The Urpf Lanze vous emmène au beau milieu d’un cottage abandonné au son d’un blues primitif murmuré ou hurlé accompagné d’une guitare désaccordée jouée à plat sur les genoux.
